A refreshing, creamy summer cooler from the Indian sub-continent, 'Lassi' is a traditional yogurt-based drink that is both savoury and sweet. In this sweet and tangy mango lassi recipe, our Chola Cardamom shines through in every sip of creamy and frothy deliciousness.
~ Gather Your Ingredients ~ |
3 Fresh ripe mangoes |
1 Cup plain, chilled yogurt |
10 Chola Cardamom pods [Add to cart] |
1-2 tsp honey, as desired |
3 tbsp milk, if required |
5-6 Ice cubes |
~ Preparation Instructions ~
1. Peel the mango and cut them into chunks.
2. Add the mangoes to the blender along with yogurt, cardamom seeds and honey.
3. Blitz everything together with ice cubes, until very smooth & slightly frothy.
4. Add 1-2 tbsp milk to correct the consistency, if required. Lassi should ideally be thick, but of pouring consistency.
5. Garnish with a sprinkling of freshly ground cardamom powder and serve immediately.
