Bold & intense with tasting notes of lemon zest, fennel & betel leaves, and hints of ripe figs. The peppercorn vines at Kerehaklu are propagated on sustainably-grown indigenous shade trees in a bio~diverse food forest alongside pomelos, lemons, jackfruits, mangoes, avocados & even a 400-year old fig tree ~ all in harmony with indigenous flora, fauna & funga. Freshly grounded peppercorns will elevate any bowl of soup or salad & make your pasta & steak au poivre absolutely magical!

We have sourced the best of the bunch from a 60-year-old family~run estate tucked away in Chikmagalur ~ within India’s Western Ghats, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The 4th-generation coffee enthusiast & biologist, Ajoy, has devoted his adult life to conservation of the impressive 270 acre estate & his son, Pranoy, is devoting his time, energy & soul into studying & nurturing the vast diversity of flora that makes their land ecologically unique.
